Stephen D. Reid
Founder and Principal

Stephen Reid, President of Stephen D. Reid Associates, is a public affairs professional with extensive experience at the Federal, State and local levels. He has represented and advised many Fortune 100 and 500 companies including statewide associations, nationwide retailers and individual entrepreneurs.

Before forming Stephen D. Reid Associates., Mr. Reid was Senior Vice President at MWW, a National Public Affairs firm in Trenton, New Jersey. Prior to starting at MWW, Mr. Reid was a partner at Capital Public Affairs, a Public Affairs firm located in Princeton, New Jersey for 5 years. Before joining Capital Public Affairs, Mr. Reid was the president of Stephen D. Reid Associates for 9 years.

 

Mr. Reid has worked for former New Jersey Governor and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Christine Todd Whitman, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities and for a national Public Affairs firm. In addition, Mr. Reid worked as the Assistant to the Mercer County Executive where he  worked on many high profile projects such as the Mercer County’s Minor League Baseball Stadium and the Mercer County International Trade Zone.

 

Stephen manages New Jersey based public affairs programs focused on project siting issues, management and governmental affairs, with more than 25 years in NJ related concerns.


Mr.Reid received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Tarkio College in Missouri and lives in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey with his wife Jacqueline, and their daughter Evangeline.
